Ian has spent his career building long standing relationships and a reputation throughout the Atlantic Canada business community for being a person of trust and respect.  He is highly regarded in the Human Resource and Finance community as a person committed to delivering both value and results for his clients.  He takes pride in providing quality service to both his clients and candidates.

Raised in Antigonish, Ian is a proud alumnus of Saint Francis Xavier University where he graduated with a business degree in Finance.  Ian started his career with TD Bank progressing to senior positions within Atlantic Canada.  His career moved to Maritime Life where he spent three years in sales and business development.  Following Maritime Life, Ian worked for seven years as a Principal with a national human resource consulting firm.  For the past six years, Ian was a Partner with the region’s largest recruitment organization where he led the contingency recruitment practice for the last two years.

In the community, Ian has been active in many community events and fundraising initiatives.  Passionate about sport and kids in sport, Ian is active in coaching and has served on the Executive of Dartmouth Minor Hockey and on the Board of Palooka’s Gym in Halifax.  Ian has been active with STFX University events including chair of the alumni golf tournament and on the committee for the annual Father Kehoe dinner. 

Ian resides in Dartmouth with his wife and three children.
