Clinical Specialist - St. John’s, NL

Our client has been a worldwide leader in cardiac therapy solutions for nearly 50 year and has experienced considerable growth in Canada since 2009. With strong relationships cemented with some of the top cardiologists in Newfoundland, our client is looking for a Clinical Specialist with the relationship management skills to work with physicians and patients as well as the technical skills to support sophisticated cardiac devices.

With a university degree in health care, the Clinical Specialist will work with cardiologists, nurses and electrophysiologists in the programming and implantation of pacemakers. S/he will follow up with both cardiac patients and medical staff to ensure optimized performance of the products and conduct regular training on product features and benefits.

After proper training, the Clinical Specialist will be afforded autonomy and flexibility and should be able to perform well without direct supervision. Time in the operating room and on the road will be required, so the candidate must possess good organizational skills as well as a vehicle and driver’s license. S/he will be self-motivated and results-oriented with strong personal ethics and effective communication skills.
