Susan  Faulkner

Susan  Faulkner,  BCSS,  MBA,  I.S.P.,ICTP  is  an  Information  Systems  Professional  with  over  30  years  of experience  in  large  organizations.  She  has  held  senior  leadership  positions  in  Information  Technology, Project  Management  and  Internal  Audit  at  Nova  Scotia  Power,  Emera,  Bluewave  Energy  and  Parkland Fuels  Corporation. 

She  is  skilled  at  Business  Process  Improvement  enabled  by  technology,  with  a significant focus on Change Management.   Born  and  raised  near  Halifax,  Nova  Scotia,  Susan  started  her  career  in  Information  Technology  at  Nova Scotia Power in 1985 as a Systems Analyst and progressed to managing various Information Technology, Internal Audit, Process Improvement and project teams within Nova Scotia Power and its parent company, Emera.  She has a variety of experience, including ERP implementation, leading re-engineering and change management  initiatives,  internal  audit  and  controls,  as  well  as  successfully  managing  several  large  multi- million dollar projects.

She  joined  Bluewave  Energy  in  January,  2007  as  their  Director  of  IT  to  lead  the  Information  Technology initiatives that enabled significant and rapid growth for the company. By the end of 2007, Bluewave Energy successfully became the largest independent petroleum delivery company in Canada.  Susan  started  her  own  consulting  company,  e4  Business  Solutions,  in  August  2011  and  focuses  on business process improvement, enabled by technology and change management.

Susan received her Bachelor of Computer Science degree from Acadia University and her Masters of Business Administration from Saint Mary's University. Susan is a member of the Canadian Information Processing Society and holds the Information Systems Professional (I.S.P.) designation. She is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Change Management Professional (CCMP and PROSCI).

Susan is an energetic leader and change manager who develops strong relationships based on mutual trust and respect. She has a record of motivating and exciting employees to be part of the changes she has led. She  has  the  ability  to  adapt  quickly  to  any  environment  and  is  able  to  execute  efficiently  and  effectively based upon her extensive experience.
