OSCO Construction Group is seeking an Assistant Manager to join their Ready Mix operation in Moncton, New Brunswick. The OSCO Construction Group has been in business for over 60 years and consists of a collection of companies operating in steel, concrete and construction. What started as a wooden building in Saint John, New Brunswick has grown to over 20 locations in Atlantic Canada and the Northeastern United States; serving a variety of markets throughout Atlantic and Western Canada, the Eastern US and the Caribbean.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Assistant Manager will assist in operating and managing the plant and will be responsible for production scheduling and planning, administrative support while ensuring a safe work environment. As the ideal candidate, you will be responsible for all stages of dispatching including; customer service, product quality/delivery, inventory control and driver communication/scheduling. You will use a computerized batching system to batch concrete.

The successful candidate will have experience in the construction industry with a post-secondary diploma in an engineering technology disciple; combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English. You have the proven ability to work with changing schedules and under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
