West Nova Fuels delivers home heating fuel, diesel, gasoline, lubricants, heating equipment and other products and services to residential, commercial and industrial customers from their network of branch offices throughout most of mainland Nova Scotia. Reporting to the General Manager, our client is seeking a results-driven Branch Manager for their Bridgewater and Lunenburg offices to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. The Branch Manager will provide complete and appropriate solutions for customers that boost top line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability. The Branch Manager will also be responsible for financial results and the overall performance of the branch office and operations in Lunenburg and Queens Counties.

As the successful candidate, you will provide leadership for, and management of, all branch operations including sales, fuel delivery, burner service, customer service and inventory. Leading a team of twelve people, you will ensure safe and efficient operational practices. You will also work with your peers at West Nova Propane to seek out combined sales/growth opportunities that maximize cross selling initiatives, share best practices and develop strategy. In addition, look for safety and efficiency improvements within the region.

The ideal candidate will have sales experience, a proven track record of successful leadership, organizational skills and managerial experience with a degree or diploma in business, engineering or other relevant technical discipline. Industry related experience or a background in fleet operations, maintenance or transportation are considered an asset. The successful candidate will have an entrepreneurial drive, strong people management and a keen focus on customer growth and retention.
