Confederation Centre of the Arts is seeking a Chief Marketing and Development Office to join their diverse and multi-disciplinary team.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Marketing and Development Officer is an integral part of the senior management team, leading teams in marketing, communications, development, guest services and heritage. As the Chief Marketing and Development Officer you will lead multi-disciplinary teams in the execution of integrated marketing and communications plan, develop and manage departmental budgets, lead research initiatives, and with the Director of Development, collaborate with, and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, or communications or a related field, along with ten years or more of progressive experience leading to a senior marketing and development role. A skilled communicator, she/he will have considerable experience with integrated marketing communications strategies and exceptional planning and project management skills. The successful candidate will have demonstrated creativity, leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills, along with strong financial and business expertise. Previous experience in the arts, culture, and/or tourism industries would be an asset.
