Continuous Improvement Engineer

Our client, a home builder in Sussex New Brunswick, is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to join their growing team. The Continuous Improvement Engineer will use their strong problem solving and execution skills to drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout all areas of the operation.                                                                                                                               

As the ideal candidate, you will be responsible for continuous improvement and process monitoring by applying cost effective methods (Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing, etc.…) to drive improvements in safety, productivity and quality. You will support the manufacturing operation by developing and implementing processes to measure line performance, troubleshooting problems and prioritizing improvement areas. You will assist in the development and maintenance of manufacturing work instructions associated with the product and assist in the training and evaluation as applicable.

As the successful candidate you will have a Technical Diploma (engineering or technologist) combined with 2-5 years of manufacturing experience. You are someone who is process driven and utilizes strong attention to detail to observe the need for change, develop and implement processes and systems to improve operational efficiencies. You are trained and experienced in Lean tools and Six Sigma methodologies and have knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and workplace safety programs.
