Dental Technician

Our client, a Dental Laboratory based in Halifax is seeking a Dental Technician to join their growing team.

Reporting directly to the President, the Dental Technician will be responsible for reading and interpreting prescription forms and the design of dental prosthesis using CAD/CAM equipment to adhere to customer orders. You will provide sound technical advice and trouble-shoot complex cases with doctors. As an expert with CAD/CAM technology you will provide advice and guidance to colleagues and perform quality assurance checks of scanning and milling output. The Dental Technician should have advanced knowledge in tooth morphology and full arch occlusion. Comprehensive Implant design from single restorations to full arch full contour bridge restorations is needed.

As the successful candidate, you have thorough knowledge and understanding of dental anatomy, dental design and modeling, scanners and printing. You have extensive experience with CAD/CAM technology and the leadership skills to share that information with colleagues. The Dental Technician must be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and reasoning ability.
