This continued growth has led them to seek an experienced Human Resources Manager to join their collaborative and supportive team environment.

Our client is seeking an individual that brings enthusiasm to their role and has a passion for human resources. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator and will have a consultative coaching role with managers for workforce planning, employee relations, succession planning, compensation, policy and best practice application and other management challenges. Partnering with senior management to determine strategic HR needs, you will develop and implement policies, programs and initiatives in alignment with the overall business objectives and culture. You will lead the performance management and development program. As the champion of training and development, you will identify leverage, and participate in both individual and departmental training while strengthening skills, teamwork and leadership across the organization. You will lead the recruiting process aligning talent acquisition and retention needs with current and future strategy. As an advocate for employee engagement, relations and retention, you aim to build a culture of awareness, accountability, productivity and collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or a related field and preferably with a CPHR designation. You have 7 years’ experience in diverse human resources disciplines and best practices across an organization. As a proven leader, you emphasize teamwork, coaching and mentoring, and relationship building organization wide. With a current understanding of Canadian employment and workplace legislation, you ensure HR compliance is met. As a creative and innovative thinker, you resolve problems and see it through to the end. You are always looking to improve and challenge yourself, the team, and the status quo.
