HVAC Technician

Halifax, Nova Scotia

Our client is seeking a HVAC Technician to join their growing team in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

As an HVAC Technician, you will be working on new construction, commercial and residential projects within Halifax Regional Municipality. You will be responsible for mentoring/leading apprentices and junior mechanics to promote and deliver high quality work. You will assist and/or develop estimates and proposals for repair work, tenant retrofit projects, maintenance agreements, small controls opportunities and more. You will troubleshoot, repair and install heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems in small, medium and large commercial buildings.

As the ideal candidate, you are a Journeyman HVAC Technician with experience working on new construction projects and with general contractors. You have a high degree of problem solving, prioritizing and time management skills. You are self motivated and can work independently and perform work on time and on budget.
