Investor Relations Supervisor

Their Investor Relations team is actively seeking a Supervisor for their Halifax office. The Investor Relations Supervisor reports to the Investor Relations Manager and will be responsible for a variety of duties including, however not limited to, the below.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Advising clients in best practice
  • Conducting client orientation calls
  • Responding to client and investor queries via phone or email
  • Reviewing contract notes for release
  • Follow up with clients for outstanding information or documents
  • Maintaining supervision of a global sub-team of Analysts, Senior Analyst(s), and Assistant Supervisor (team of 4-6 members)
  • Participating in team and reviewer meetings
  • Training of sub-team and managing workflows
  • One-on-one meetings and completing monthly performance evaluations
  • Ensuring sub-team’s compliance with departmental processes and procedures
  • Liaising with other Shared Services teams (Banking, Accounting, Compliance, etc.)

Desired Experience:

  • 5+ years’ investor relations experience working within the hedge fund industry required
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or similar field is preferred
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
