One of Atlantic Canada’s most rapidly growing startups, Swept is disrupting the commercial cleaning space internationally.  Fresh off an intensive program at 500 Startups in California, Swept is ready to expand their operations in Halifax, Nova Scotia. As such, we are seeking a performance marketing leader, ideally from a product background, who can challenge ideas and drive business forward as both a strategist and executor.

Years ago, before offering our Software as a Service, Swept started as a residential and commercial cleaning company. We learned the hard way how challenging it can be to run and grow a Janitorial Business. Leveraging our background in Software, Marketing and Sales strategy, we were able to grow our cleaning business 530% year over year and expand to 3 cities with less than 10% turnover in our cleaning staff. It was then that we realized our competitive edge was something we wanted to share with the industry.

The entrepreneurial environment at Swept is high growth, fast paced and results-oriented. The enthusiasm is infectious and people need to be prepared to embrace potential failure to be able to contribute openly and make decisions quickly. In our Marketing Leader, we need a creative problem solver and self-starter who can build business cases that will generate support to veer marketing investment towards  a direction that you believe in. We need someone who can bring ideas to life, debate constructively, then lead execution without always having the luxury of full data.

The Marketing Lead at Swept will ideally have the proven ability to generate and deliver quality MQLs that convert to customers and expand the business. You would have previous experience running campaigns from concept through delivery and learned from both the good and bad experiences. You are a visionary who remains mindful of the business problems that Swept is solving while helping customers change their behaviours to achieve their business goals. You have the leadership ability to build high performing teams and keep them inspired and accountable towards marketing objectives. And you remain technical enough to remain hands on in creating content, analyzing data and reporting on marketing performance.
