Product Specialist – Wire & Cable

Dartmouth, Nova Scotia

Our client, is seeking a Product Specialist to join their team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia to work in the wire & cable division.

As the ideal candidate, you will be responsible for promoting a full range of wire & cable products in the division, working closely with manufacturers, branch managers, sales representatives and supporting staff and customers. You will identify the business market in the wire & cable industry and support departments informed of critical industry changes. You will analyze market conditions (local market conditions, competitive forces, market share, opportunities for growth) and develop annual business plans.  You will maintain sales records, compare prices and develop a list of prospective customers. You will develop technical training seminars for customers, attend industry trade shows, ensure that all customers and sales staff receive necessary technical support and/or product training and prepare pricing for project quotes and a bill of material.

As the successful candidate, you will have extensive inside/outside sales experience in the wire & cable sector and are able to conduct audits, layouts, takeoffs and all other tasks associated with being a wire & cable professional.
