Retail Store Clerks- Cannabis

Halifax Regional Municipality

For over 80 years, the NSLC has been managing the safe and responsible sale of beverage alcohol in Nova Scotia.  On October 17, 2018 the NSLC will be expanding its product categories to include the sale of recreational cannabis across Nova Scotia. This exciting new mandate has created new employment opportunities within a diverse and growing organization that is committed to social responsibility.

On behalf of NSLC, we are seeking a few very experienced individuals to join the existing team of retail Store Clerks serving customers in select NSLC stores which sell recreational cannabis in HRM.

Are you a highly motivated individual who strives to provide a quality customer experience? If you are interested applying your product knowledge and superior customer service skills in the retailing of cannabis and beverage alcohol, then this may be the role for you. NSLC is seeking individuals who are excited to build relationships with customers while educating them on products and helping them to make informed and responsible choices.

The successful candidate must have demonstrated cannabis knowledge and experience in a customer facing environment such as a medical dispensary or licensed producer. Candidates should be committed to expand their current product knowledge while placing considerable focus on customer experience. Our ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, patience, great customer service skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.

This is a fantastic career opportunity to join the NSLC as it launches a new product category. Interested candidates can send their resume to Shardeigh McGillivray via shardeigh@venor.ca
