Technical Sales Representative

Halifax, Nova Scotia

Our client a commercial and residential heating company is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to develop and implement an effective sales and marketing strategy throughout Nova Scotia. This position works closely with the Service Manager and leads the daily operation of the Sales Department.

As the ideal candidate, you will be responsible for developing an annual sales plan, identifying new business opportunities, market segments and recurring revenue streams. You will be attending trade specific networking events to maintain a working knowledge of current and pending commercial, multi-residential, institutional and industrial projects and aid in the implementation of a Sales Program in Nova Scotia. You will be required to complete the preparation for take offs; estimates, quotations and pricing, including all related submission requirements such as presentations, proposals and tender responses. You will be traveling throughout Nova Scotia fostering internal and external relationships to grow business through the region.  

As the successful candidate, you will have a minimum of 5 years of experience selling heating products and services with secondary education preferably in an industrial field. You had proven experience in developing new business with new and existing customers.
