Vice President of Sales

We are currently recruiting a Vice President of Sales, located on Prince Edwards Island.  Our client is a dynamic and growing custom stainless-steel manufacturer delivering design, fabrication and installation services to our food processing clients across Canada, the United States, and Internationally.

As the Vice President of Sales will be responsible for all facets of selling efforts and revenue growth. You will be responsible for developing growth strategies, building a team of sales professionals and creating the culture of selling success and goal achievement. You have great customer service, value delivery, and reach year on year revenue growth targets. You will be responsible for developing plans and strategies for delivering profitable revenue growth.  As the Vice President of Sales, will design sales staff compensation programs, sales training and selling processes. You build strong trusting relationships with key clients, internal team members and strategic suppliers, and actively search out new business opportunities and monitor customer, market and competitor activity.

As the successful candidate you will possess a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, or a college diploma Mechanical Design or equivalent technical experience. You will 10+ years of experience in a technical sales environment, will have experience with food process equipment and/ or custom stainless equipment and conveyor design.  We are looking for someone who is customer focused, that is dedicated to meeting the requirements of customer’s needs. The ideal candidate will possess high decision quality, is action oriented and who has a drive for results. The successful candidate will have strong communication and technical writing skills, and be proficient in MS office, AutoCAD and preferably Inventor software.  The ideal candidate should be flexible to travel.
