Youth Employment

We are community builders and believe our youth play a critical role in making Nova Scotia a thriving economy and better place to live.

Working with client groups, we provide one-on-one career coaching, group workshops, and a structured mentorship program, through our proprietary platform Students2Mentors, so that students can gain an understanding of workplace norms and build professional connections and relationship management skills. We also help students connect to potential employers.

Our work is aimed at providing young professionals opportunities to develop the soft-skills and connections required to stand out in today’s marketplace and be successful in the workplace for many years to come; think of us as your pre-employment bootcamp center. At the same time, we are working to close the gap between employers looking to hire and the young professionals eager to get their careers started.

More info here for employers and here for young professionals.

If you want to know about various funding programs to hire young professionals, please check out our Wage Subsidy Programs Summary here.
