We support a number of groups and iniviatives in the community that align with our mission of growing Atlantic Canada, specifically within the tech sector and entrepreneurship, including:

  • Volta is a Halifax-based startup house for early-stage tech product​ ​companies. We’re creating a place where entrepreneurship is celebrated & taking over the world is expected.​ ​We are a non-profit created by founders for founders.​ ​Volta support​s​ the development of entrepreneurial talent through the attraction, training and support of new startup founders.​We nurture the best founders of startups in the world, who will in turn create world-class companies.​Our focus is on building a community where entrepreneurs can come together to learn from each other, grow their companies and expand to new markets.
  • Junior Achievement (JA) Nova Scotia provides hands-on experiential learning in the classroom and through extra-curricular activities. Programs focus on three educational pillars: financial literacy, workplace readiness, and entrepreneurship. JA recruits volunteers from the business community to collaborate on the delivery of programs, which exposes students to real world business perspectives and ideas.
