Halifax based talent firm Venor has attracted one of the region’s top recruiters to help them keep up with their expanding portfolio of clients and services.

Nick Misener, most recently one of the top recruitment consultants for a national search firm, has joined Venor with a focus on helping high-growth companies attract elusive tech talent.

“I have always admired the Venor brand and the type of partnerships them seem to enjoy with their clients” says Misener. “Their focus on helping companies achieve real business outcomes with a long term relationship focus appealed to me."

Founded by Ian Sullivan and Craig Coady in 2012, Venor has expanded to provide Career Transition, Interim Leadership, and Private Advisory Board services, as well as Career Development Programs for Youth and Students Athletes via their sister company, En Point.

On the recruitment front, Venor has always been a leader in the IT space locally.

“Nick was really the one recruiter I was consistently running into in the local tech market”, say Coady. "Together we form a pretty formidable team and can add that much more value to the local ecosystem.”

“We pride ourselves on being entrepreneurs and I think being able to impact a locally based company and have input into our direction appealed to Nick”, says Sullivan. “He’s tenacity and drive are a great fit with our culture and we are excited to see the impact he will bring.”
