On behalf of our client, a leader in the mechanical industry, we are seeking a Service Division Manager to join their team in Dartmouth, NS.  Known for their quality workmanship, our client is committed to ensuring projects will be completed by the top craftspeople. Committed to manufacturing products and providing specialty plumbing, heating and heating system repair services that meet customer requirements.

Reporting to the President, the Service Division Manager will be responsible for the effective management and operation of the service department and the management of the field trades and apprentices.  The Service Division Manager will be responsible for overseeing all quotations and invoices of customers. Reviewing all work orders from field staff will ensure accuracy and completeness of repairs. You will be responsible for reviewing technicians and apprentices to certify work is being completed in a timely and professional manner. A positive safety culture is a critical component of a healthy and safe working environment. You will ensure all training is up to date and applied on all job sites.

As the ideal candidate you will have a technical background in HVAC,  or Journeyman trade in ventilation and/or air conditioning. You possess a strong knowledge of current regulations while being aware of changes to the market and emerging trends will help keep the company current and the staff safe. You will have demonstrated the ability to carry out projects and initiatives to completion while working successfully with different types of people at many organizational levels both in a team environment and independently.
