Technician, Engineering

Our client is a leader in the development and manufacturing of power conversion equipment for military application. On their behalf, we are seeking a Technician, Engineering to support the engineering team with a variety of complex duties.

The successful candidate will assist in design, build and procurement of new or improved machines, tools, fixtures and material handling equipment and coordinating the implementation. You will be responsible for completing process documentation and review project instructions and drawings to ascertain test specifications, procedures, objectives, test equipments, nature of technical problem and possible solutions. The Technician will devise, fabricate and assemble electrical components or assemblies for product. You will set up and conduct tests, analyze the results, record the test procedures using numerical and graphical data and recommend changes. You will provide and develop documentation to maintain equipment. As a team lead, you will develop and mentor technician teams.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience including design and troubleshooting. You have a quality orientation, customer focus and strive for continuous improvement. As a planner, you manage your time efficiently but are also adaptable and flexible in your approach.
