Our client, a global leader in the electrical industry, is currently looking for a Branch Manager in Fredericton, New Brunswick. With 2100 locations in 37 countries, our client delivers high quality products and services.

The successful candidate will develop and recommend sales strategies and marketing objectives, including sales volume and profit forecasts. Maintaining accurate customer service measurement criteria, you will take appropriate action to ensure compliance. You will prepare work schedules for workflow of all areas, hire personnel, and promote and maintain a positive work climate. The Branch Manager will ensure proper application of policies and procedures including delivery, billing, collection and security. Keeping track of products, you will determine causes for discrepancies between inventory counts and stock control records. With a focus on relationship building, you will maintain positive relations with existing clients while bringing in new business to the branch.

As the ideal candidate, you have a college education with 3-5 years experience within the electrical distribution industry accompanied with 2-3 years of management or supervisory experience. You are a member in a professional organization with good standing and maintain a P.Tech/CET designation. With a basic understanding of control and automation systems, you are able to create simple control drawings and schematics. You have excellent project management skills and sound business acumen to analyze financial reports and develop implementation strategies. Experience with AS400 would be considered an asset.
