Venor is proud to partner with CPA Atlantic School of Business in our search for an IT Manager to join their esteemed organization in this newly created role. The IT Manager will be broadly responsible for servicing and supporting the IT needs of the school including IT administration, infrastructure support, data management and business analysis.

The IT Manager will support information technology needs including data management, report generation and data analytics. Acting as a liaison between the school and CPA Canada, you will act as the host of CPA Atlantic School’s primary business applications, Aptify and Desire2Learn. The successful candidate will provide help desk support services to local and remote staff which includes installing and supporting MS Windows desktops and networking, Office 365, troubleshooting hardware, software and wireless issues and configuring smartphones. You will provide IT administration which includes security, procurement, asset management and policy implementation. Researching, recommending and supporting alternative solutions, you will support senior management in staying abreast of contemporary IT developments.  Business process mapping, problem analysis and resolution and documentation will also be a part of this role.

The ideal candidate will have a diploma in IT/IS accompanied with two years of experience including help desk support in a MS Windows environment. You are familiar with MS Office, MS Project and possess strong proficiency in managing MS Office 365 and MS OneDrive. You have Business analyst experience, a working knowledge of Power BI or equivalent, knowledge of IP phones and project management skills. As a skilled communicator and team player, you have well developed interpersonal skills and are able to build close working relationships with all levels of employees. With your “roll up the sleeves” to get it done attitude, you are a hands on, deadline driven individual.
