On their behalf, we are seeking a Manager, Accounting to lead and mentor the accounting team. This position reports to the Corporate Controller.

The Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the accounting department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient operation of all general accounting functions. You will work with each direct report to establish goals and objectives for each year and monitor and advise to enhance professional development of the staff. The Manager will review and improve processes and identify gaps.

The ideal candidate will have an accounting degree and likely working towards an accounting designation. You have 3-5 years experience in a general accounting role. You bring the following experiences; payables/receivables and cash management, financial statement preparation, process documentation and general support to budgets and forecasting. As a leader, you are hands on and work hard to motivate and develop your direct reports. You enjoy problem solving and identifying areas for improvement. In a fast paced environment, you excel in meeting tight, ongoing deadlines without sacrificing quality and attention to detail.
