We are excited to partner with them on their Purchasing Manager position. The Purchasing Manager will play a critical role ensuring the highest-quality and cost-effective purchases are made.
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, you will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, preparing purchase orders, sending through the orders and verifying the receipt of the items. You will evaluate suppliers, interview vendors and use superb purchasing strategies and negotiation skills to ensure maximum company profit.
As the successful candidate, you will have proven experience as a Purchasing Manager/Strategic Sourcing Manager with secondary education. You will have experience in negotiating prices and terms and conditions and have a knowledge of MS Office and purchasing software. You are someone who values the customer service experience and have excellent interpersonal skills. With a proactive mindset, you are able to think ahead with a high degree of detail. As a skilled communicator and negotiator, you build strong relationships with your suppliers to ensure the best price is obtained. You possess strong analytical skills and are highly organized.
