The Project Manager plays a key role in leading construction projects from early-stage planning and estimating through to execution and closeout. Working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams, this position is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality while maintaining a strong client experience throughout.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will lead the full lifecycle of construction projects, ensuring alignment between scope, schedule, budget, and execution.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Participate in the estimating process, including scope development, take-offs, subcontractor coordination, and proposal preparation.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts to support successful delivery.
  • Negotiate contracts, manage permits and approvals, and proactively identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Lead client communication and maintain strong relationships throughout the lifecycle of each project.
  • Coordinate with site supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient execution of work.
  • Oversee project progress, ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality expectations, and construction best practices.
  • Manage RFIs, change orders, shop drawings, and project documentation.
  • Conduct site visits and support field teams in resolving issues and maintaining momentum.
  • Prepare and maintain internal and external reporting on project status, financials, and performance.
  • Anticipate challenges and implement solutions to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate is a collaborative and detail-oriented construction professional with a strong foundation in project management and estimating. You bring experience managing construction projects from start to finish and are comfortable navigating the complexities of multiple stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables. You are highly organized, proactive, and solutions-focused, with the ability to anticipate challenges and respond effectively in a fast-paced environment.

You have a strong understanding of construction practices, building codes, and project documentation, along with the ability to interpret drawings and specifications. Your communication and relationship-building skills allow you to work effectively with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, while your leadership approach fosters trust, accountability, and teamwork. Experience with project management and construction tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms is considered an asset.
