Project Manager

Venor is proud to partner with L&A Metalworks Inc. in their search for a Project Manager to join their team in Fredericton.

Located in Fredericton, New Brunswick, L&A Metalworks Inc. is a trusted metal fabricator serving a select group of OEMs that supply critical infrastructure to industrial clients—including oil refineries and power-generating plants. With a reputation for precision and reliability, L&A manufactures complex, made-to-print process systems designed for gas flow diversion and pollution extraction.

This is an ideal opportunity for an up-and-coming Project Manager with an engineering background who is looking to take the next step in their career.

What you’ll be doing:

• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction and steel-related projects
• Work closely with senior leadership and the current Project Manager to learn established processes and best practices
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Monitor project progress and proactively address risks or challenges
• Assist with project documentation, reporting, and scheduling
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements

What we are looking for:

• 5–10 years of experience in construction, steel, or a related industry
• Engineering background considered a strong asset
• Demonstrated experience supporting or leading projects in an industrial or construction environment
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively while also taking ownership of responsibilities
• Motivated to learn from senior leadership and grow into a long-term leadership role
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
• Collaborative team environment with opportunities to grow and develop professionally
