Venor is proud to partner with our client, a confidential employer in the clean manufacturing industry and climate‑tech sector in their search for a motivated Junior Accountant to support day‑to‑day financial operations. As a key member of the finance team, you will gain hands‑on experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, expense management, and month‑end processes.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Process vendor invoices and support the accounts payable cycle.
  • Assist with issuing customer invoices and tracking incoming payments.
  • Support payment processing, expense reviews, and employee reimbursements.
  • Help with monthly close activities and account reconciliations.
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and investigate basic discrepancies.
  • Support audit preparation and financial reporting tasks.

What We’re looking for: 

  • Recent degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and eagerness to develop accounting skills.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Microsoft Office, and account software (NetSuite is an asset).  
  • Quick learner and comfortable learning new systems.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time‑management skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
