Venor is proud to partner with Centura Atlantic in their search for an Assistant Sales Manager  in Dartmouth, NS. This is a pivotal role in driving regional sales performance, operational excellence, and strategic growth initiatives.

This role plays a key part in supporting regional sales operations and enabling the sales team to perform at a high level.This position offers high visibility across the organization and the opportunity to influence revenue performance, process improvement, and long-term growth planning.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will act as the operational and informational backbone of the regional sales team, ensuring that strategy, systems, and performance are tightly aligned to support sustainable growth. You will strengthen the sales infrastructure by equipping the team with the right tools, product knowledge, data insights, and structured processes needed to consistently perform at a high level and achieve regional objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with the Regional Sales Manager to execute regional sales strategies and achieve revenue targets.
  • Acting as a key commercial operations leader supporting the broader sales team.
  • Building and maintaining sales infrastructure including sample programs, merchandising systems, and product catalog management.
  • Leveraging CRM platforms and advanced Excel analysis to interpret performance data and deliver actionable insights.
  • Preparing strategic reports that identify growth opportunities, gaps, and market trends.
  • Supporting forecasting, budgeting, and sales planning processes.
  • Driving sales enablement initiatives, including training support and process improvements.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Customer Service, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless execution.
  • Managing supplier communication related to product programs and launches.
  • Opportunities to support the Regional Sales Manager in broader leadership responsibilities as experience grows.
