Key Responsibilities
As the Controller, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial health and driving informed decision-making. Your responsibilities include:
- Leading the preparation of monthly financial statements to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Overseeing financial reporting management, including balance sheets, expense tracking, income statements, budgets, and other financial reports.
- Preparing working papers for year-end audits and collaborating with external auditors.
- Ensuring compliance with and preparing reports aligned with government regulations.
- Utilizing accounting software to maintain meticulous records and generate comprehensive reports.
- Coordinating and preparing detailed financial reports for management.
- Collaborating with division management to analyze performance metrics and provide actionable insights.
- Conducting in-depth financial analysis to support strategic planning.
- Contributing to the team’s success by performing related tasks and supporting cross-departmental efforts.
What We’re Looking For
A detail-oriented accounting professional with a strong background in financial reporting and compliance.
- CPA designation
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and management.
- Knowledge of real estate industry accounting is an asset.
