On behalf of the IWK Foundation, Venor is seeking a progressive HR leader with a passion for building talent and shaping culture to optimize the employee experience in creating a great place to work and a progressive employer brand.

What you’ll be doing:
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director, People & Culture provides strategic leadership as well as tactical HR expertise to the organization. As a strategic leader and member of the management team, the Director will provide strategic oversight of a modern HR strategy and function. As a trusted and credible advisor and leader, they are accountable for developing plans and executing on initiatives and programs.  We are looking for someone who is known for being collaborative, progressive, and resourceful in creating alignment, driving efficiency and change across a broad range of HR services.

What we’re looking for:
As the ideal candidate, you have an advanced degree and/or a professional designation related to human resources coupled with demonstrated experience as a senior human resources leader driving and executing strategy.  You have played a leadership role in the development and implementation of long-term plans and organizational change. You have seasoned knowledge and experience in all aspects of human resources and are comfortable working in both the strategic and tactical space. You are a sought-after trusted advisor and strategic partner to senior leadership teams. With strong communication and interpersonal skills, your track record of success can also be attributed to your ability to develop meaningful and trusted relationships across all levels of the organization. Experience with not-for-profits is considered an asset.
