We are hiring a Field Service Technician to play a vital role in delivering innovative automation solutions. In this hands-on role, you’ll work directly with clients to program, configure, and commission industrial control systems, ensuring their operations run smoothly and efficiently.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will program, configure, and commission industrial control systems to optimize efficiency. You’ll be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems, specializing in Allen Bradley (RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000, ControlLogix, CompactLogix) and other platforms. Your expertise will be essential in conducting on-site diagnostics, maintenance, and system commissioning to ensure reliability and optimal performance. Collaboration is key—you’ll work closely with engineers and technicians to enhance system performance and provide innovative solutions. You’ll also play a direct role in supporting clients, helping them resolve technical challenges, improve automation processes, and optimize their systems. Additionally, you’ll document service work, make system recommendations, and assist with sales and project administration as needed.

We’re looking for a hands-on, solution-driven professional with a strong background in industrial automation and a passion for problem-solving.

What We’re Looking For

  • Post-secondary education or training in Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Control Systems.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in industrial automation.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, electrical schematics, and automation technologies.
  • A sharp troubleshooting mindset for diagnosing PLC, HMI, and SCADA system issues.
  • Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLCs and familiarity with other automation platforms
  • A strong understanding of control systems, electrical schematics, and industrial automation.
  • A customer-focused mindset with excellent communication and professionalism.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
