On behalf of KTV Working Drone Vancouver, we are recruiting a General Manager. This is a unique opportunity to participate in a very exciting start-up adventure where you will also have the opportunity to participate in the further development of KTV Working Drone as we are working on several projects and innovations.
The General Manager is a dynamic and results-driven leader who can lead and manage the daily operations while driving business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations or general management, preferably within the facilities management industry. This role requires a hands-on leader with the ability to build relationships, lead people, and ensure the highest standards of customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Business Development:
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients and business opportunities.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth.
- Manage sales budgets, forecasts, and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely financial and sales data.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
- Oversee the management of key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Conduct regular client meetings and site visits to assess service quality and gather feedback.
- Resolve any client issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, motivate, and mentor the team to achieve individual goals
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training and development needs.
- Conduct regular training sessions to ensure the team is equipped with the latest techniques, safety protocols, and customer service skills.
- Foster a positive, results-oriented work environment that encourages teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Financial Management:
- Manage the operational budget, including labor, equipment, and supply costs.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies without compromising service quality.
- Process Improvement:
- Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance productivity and service delivery.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and make data-driven decisions to improve overall performance.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
- Stay informed of industry best practices and regulatory changes, adapting operations as necessary.
The successful candidate will have post-secondary education in business or a related field, combined with a minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, preferably in a leadership position within facilities management. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships is a must have.
