Venor is proud to partner with Stewiacke Home Hardware on their search for a Home Installs Sales Manager to join their team. Stewiacke Home Hardware Building Centre is a family-owned group of businesses in the building supply and home construction sectors. Business units include traditional hardware and building supply and installation services, truss fabrication and turn-key new home construction.

As the Home Installs Sales Manager, you are responsible for managing all aspects of the process for each installs project from start to finish including supervising and directing all activities associated with selling, installing, constructing, collections, and customer follow ups.

What you will be doing:

  • Meet with customers to understand their needs then review and approve all final job estimates to the customer.
  • Compare estimated costs against actual costs and make revisions in pricing guides where necessary.
  • Hire and manage all subcontracted resources to plan installs and complete the project according to planned timelines and budgets.
  • Generate new home installation sales opportunities and manage all potential sales leads.
  • Evaluate sales and gross margin performance of home install projects.
  • Provide updated materials to installers and schedule installations, projects, and deliveries with store managers, inside salespeople, installers, and customers.
  • Ensure that all services are compliant with all building codes and regulations and coordinating with inspectors as required.

What We’re Looking For:

As the ideal candidate, you have 5+ years of experience in construction management and have a proven track record of successful home renovation projects. You have a strong knowledge of building materials products (commodities & lumber), along with the ability to estimate and understand budgets, accounting, and other financial responsibilities related to home projects.

As the successful candidate, you are extremely organized, capable of working independently while meeting target deadlines, and you take pride in your dedication to providing the best customer service. A post- secondary education or equivalent experience in carpentry or other construction or business-related experience is considered an asset.
