Industrial Account Manager – New Brunswick

Venor is proud to partner with Superline Fuels in their search for an Industrial Account Manager based in either Saint John, Moncton or Fredericton, NB.

Superline Fuels is a maritime-based company who are a market leader in the home heat, commercial fuel, propane and lubricants industry. We are the primary marketer of Petro-Canada branded lubricants throughout the Maritime Provinces. Our complete product lineup allows us to support all market segments including transportation, construction, automotive, marine, mining and manufacturing.

Reporting to the Lubricant Division Manager, the Industrial Account Manager will excel at hunting for new business in an industrial market segment, while at the same time, nurturing and servicing our existing client base. A strong mechanical background with a comfort level around large industrial equipment would be considered a major asset for someone in this role.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Independent development of new leads and customer accounts through networking, cold calling, referrals, personal connections and other.
  • Meet or exceed growth targets while also considering share of wallet opportunities within our existing account base.
  • Creation of new business proposals and maintenance of customer pricing
  • Prepare and submit company responses to tenders and contract requests
  • Work closely with all members of the lubricants division team with the goal of providing a superior level of customer service
  • Provide all necessary customer credit information and work within the credit policies of the company. Work with the credit supervisor and customers to determine next steps on overdue accounts
  • Work with Petro-Canada Lubricants Division on an as required basis, fully utilizing their available resources
  • Ongoing management of the sales funnel using the company’s CRM software (Salesforce)  
  • Keep abreast of technical developments, product developments, and market dynamics of the Lubricants market in Eastern Canada

As an ideal candidate you will be a motivated professional with the proven ability to deliver results and to meet and exceed goals. 3+ years of successful industrial / technical sales experience. A degree or diploma in business, engineering or other relevant technical discipline or equivalent proven ability.

As a successful candidate you have a proven track record in business development and sales, with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines. Bilingualism in English and French is an asset but not a requirement.
