The team at Dear Life are storytellers at heart with a mission to share and preserve our most valuable experiences and memories. On their behalf, Venor is searching for a Lead Developer that shares the same perspectives, values, and drive to make it happen. 

What you’ll be doing
The Lead Developer will be instrumental in leading the Dear Life product life cycle and helping to effectively map out company objectives and product releases. They will be expected to work alongside senior team members to organize development objectives and guide pivotal decision-making in regard to holistic product mapping, code integrity, and industry standards. 

Regular responsibilities include:

  • Developing feature release plans and strategies
  • Performance assessments and code reviews
  • Managing database and infrastructure setups
  • Directing data and account security protocols 

What we’re looking for
The ideal candidate for this role would be someone who is passionate about tech and loves both working in and leading teams. Furthermore, this person would ideally be open-minded, a natural leader, and thrive in high-pressure situations.

Technical Requirements include:

  • 5+ years of full-stack software development experience
  • 2+ years of team lead experience
  • Mobile development experience (including advanced knowledge of native apps for Apple and Android devices and operating systems)
  • Proficient with AWS and GitLab (or another code repository system)
  • Familiarity with Flutter, Python, TestFlight, Jupiter, and Notion all nice-to-have
  • Ability to guide decisions
  • Excellent macro-vision with systems and setups
