The Manager role within MRSB’s Accounting and Assurance Division offers a dynamic opportunity for a CPA professional to lead client engagements, mentor and develop teams, and contribute to business growth. This position provides exposure to a variety of industries and reporting frameworks, allowing the successful candidate to make a tangible impact on client success while advancing their own career.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead and execute client engagements under multiple reporting frameworks across diverse industries and sectors.
  • Contribute to business development by representing MRSB and leveraging credibility in the accounting field.
  • Maximize engagement profitability by managing and utilizing resources efficiently.
  • Review corporate and personal income tax returns, compilations, and reviews with a focus on accuracy and value-added insights.
  • Plan, lead, and supervise teams to ensure client expectations are exceeded while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Mentor and develop accounting staff through supervision, file reviews, and ongoing professional guidance.
  • Actively contribute to the development and execution of the Firm’s annual business plan and growth initiatives.

What we are looking for:

  • CPA designation in good standing with 1–3 years of public accounting experience.
  • Proficiency with CaseWare Working Papers, TaxPrep, Sage 50, and QuickBooks Online (QBO).
  • Strong technical expertise in accounting and tax, with commitment to quality and professional development.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to earn trust and influence decision-makers.
  • Proven management skills, including scheduling, organizing, supervising, and managing multiple teams.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
