On their behalf, we are seeking a tireless, influential leader to join their dedicated team as Manager, Community & Corporate Giving.

What you’ll be doing:
The Manager, Community & Corporate Giving will be responsible for leading the Community & Corporate Giving portfolio including strategic planning and annual business plan development, implementation of programs and process, and delivering on revenue and expense budgets. The position will look at strategizing for the near-term including the annual Telethon and all the coinciding fundraising components, on top of managing their own portfolio of multi-faceted partnerships with corporations and community stakeholders. A focus on new business and partnership development will be a priority, leveraging new funding opportunities identified for the Foundation. The Manager will lead strategy and manage revenue targets for Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) and Canada’s Children’s Health Foundations (CCHF). A key component of this role will be to coach and mentor Relationship Managers in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island along with other members of the Community & Corporate Giving team to develop and execute account plans that align with organizational goals. Revenue generation is a critical component of this role. The Manager will develop new fundraising programs and partnerships while leading the Corporate Social Responsibility programs with corporate donors.

What we’re looking for:
This position is a multi-faceted role that involves managing a complex portfolio which is connected to every department in the organization. A high degree of collaboration, resilience and emotional intelligence is required to be successful. As the ideal candidate, you have a university degree combined with at least 5-7 years’ experience in strategic fundraising or strategic sales. A strong people leader, you have a proven track record of developing high performing teams. You are a highly effective communicator who builds strong, meaningful relationships both internally and externally. You have an effervescent personality and the ability to unite people and purpose. Not-for-profit experience would be an Asset.
