Venor is proud to partner with our client, Keyin College, in their search for a Manager of Financial Reporting & Analysis to join their team. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this individual will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting processes, ensuring the accurate and timely preparation and submission of financial statements. This involves coordinating with internal teams to gather necessary financial data and driving continuous improvement for increased efficiency and transparency in the reporting process. Additionally, the position involves conducting thorough financial analysis to identify trends and variances, offering insights into key performance indicators (KPIs). The role extends to compliance and risk management, requiring a keen awareness of changes in accounting regulations, as well as the identification and assessment of financial risks. Moreover, cross-functional collaboration is integral, requiring cooperation with other departments such as operations, sales, and marketing to analyze financial data for strategic decision-making. 

To excel in this position, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Post-Secondary education in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related fields with a completed accounting designation. 
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive financial reporting, analysis, and modeling (P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent analysis and problem solving skills, with ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Competence in managing and directing financial projects dedicated to process enhancement, cost optimization, and efficiency improvements.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate across departments and levels of the organization.
