Venor is proud to partner with UNIPCO in their search for a Member Support and Development Representative. Reporting to the Vice President, Member Services, the successful candidate would be responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in the province of Nova Scotia. As a member of the UNIPCO team, you will be asked to develop a plan and strategy to expand the membership base while working closely with their foodservice distribution and manufacturer partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a business plan and sales strategy specific to your assigned territory to help achieve our corporate goals
  • Responsible for new business development in your assigned territories
  • Work closely with existing members to increase awareness of the program and compliance to our approved vendors
  • Prepare annual territorial budget

As the successful candidate, you have a proven track record in sales with 5+ years experience in the foodservice industry. You have above average communication skills, both written and verbal and are proficient in Microsoft Excel. You are someone who has the ability to use analytical thinking to consult with potential members and self-motivate and multi-task. Bilingualism is considered to be an asset, but is not required. 

Travel within your assigned territory will be required. A competitive compensation package that includes a base salary, performance based bonus, car allowance, health benefits and retirement savings program will be offered to the successful candidate.
