Venor has partnered with Prime Lift in their search for an Operations Manager.
As the leader in automotive lift sales, installation, inspection, and parts and service company in Atlantic
Canada, Prime is the exclusive distributor of Rotary Lift Light and Heavy-Duty Vehicles Lifts and Wheel
Service Equipment in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and
Labrador.
Reporting directly to the President, the Operations Manager will be responsible to lead the light and
heavy-duty automotive equipment sales and service. The objective of the role is to embed and mature
the Prime Lift Management System by designing processes, successfully leading change through to
implementation in the following areas:
- Vision, values, and strategic growth plans for each division
- Growth and management of people resources
- Sales and operational processes/ supporting functions
- Financial management
- Enabling processes with technology
- Brand and marketing through website and social media platforms
- Adhering to safety requirements
The Operations Manager will maintain alignment with the Corporate Services Team and other Managers
within the Prime Group to develop each division’s strategy, processes, and overall improvements to
successfully execute in each division. You will successfully manage processes, technology, and required
safety requirements to effectively achieve the strategic financial and operational objectives within each
division. By collaborating with other division Managers and departments within the organization you will
work to successfully carry out the financial and operational objectives.
As a locally owned and operated organization with over 100 employees across the Maritimes, a key to
their success is fostering a positive work culture amongst all sales, operational, and admin resources to
fulfill customer commitments and achieve desired financial results. The Operations Manager will design
and manage a framework of resources to effectively manage how to hire, onboard, train, develop, and
grow/ promote operational staff within the organization. Managing performance management,
disciplinary, and termination process you will be responsible for the overall human resource practices of
the organization.
The successful candidate understands how successful businesses work and is comfortable interpreting
financial data. As a highly motivated individual, the Operations Manager is collaborative and persuasive
with a high level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and reasoning. You are comfortable working in a
fast-paced environment and bring previous experience and success from sales, industrial service, and/or
the automotive industry.
