As an Oracle EBS Financials Developer, you will work as part of an experienced team responsible for enhancing and developing new solutions for an Oracle EBS ERP solution that supports finance, reserving, treasury, and investments. This position requires knowledge of PL/SQL, which you use to work with the team delivering end-to-end Oracle Integration solutions. Success in this position is based on the ability to further develop your technical skillset and working with the business to analyze specifications and translate that into working code.

What you’ll be doing:
You will be part of a development team and will be supported by other developers and application delivery leads. This role is 75% development and 25% functional weighting. You will be involved throughout the development lifecycle, through requirements analysis, coding, unit testing, system testing, packaging, and coordinating deployments with the Application Maintenance team. Regular responsibilities include:

  • Building and testing custom components using PL/SQL
  • Executing end-to-end solutions for critical enhancements and projects of a development team
  • Working with Release Management to ensure compliance with releases protocols
  • Identifying processes and standard improvement ideas
  • Interacting with Business Leads, Program/Project Management, Application Development, and Maintenance resources to drive application improvements
  • Work as part of an Agile development team

What we’re looking for:
As a developer, you demonstrate strong coding standards and disciplined development practices. You will be involved in investigating, designing and implementing new solutions and/or adding new features and functions to existing solutions, which meet business needs. 

  • 3+ years of experience working with Oracle EBS Financial applications
  • Knowledge/understanding of Oracle EBS Financial modules
  • Have Oracle PL/SQL development experience and writing SQL queries
  • Oracle EBS Financials Applications experience
  • Experience in developing Integrations with third-party applications
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate transparently
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

Nice to have’s:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or its equivalent with relevant experience
  • Experience working directly with business end users
  • Experience with continuous software delivery pipelines
  • Experience with managing priorities and tight deadlines while maintaining highest quality standards
  • The ability to learn new technologies as required
  • Experience in Microsoft Azure cloud technologies
