Who You Are:
You’re an outstanding Outside Sales Representative with a strong background in securing product orders from both existing and prospective customers. At Flowstar, you’ll harness the tools and processes to deliver a world-class experience for every customer. You prioritize effectively, stay focused on key objectives, and are known for managing a wide variety of tasks efficiently.
About the Role:
In this role, you’ll be essential to building strong customer relationships, ensuring accurate order processing, and fostering business growth. Key responsibilities include:
- Responding to inquiries and qualifying new business opportunities.
- Managing partner data in SAP, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Preparing, submitting, and following up on customer quotations.
- Processing and expediting orders to meet customer needs.
- Maintaining detailed, up-to-date records and attaching relevant correspondence to SAP.
- Promoting inventory-based quotes to optimize order fulfillment.
- Conducting inspections to ensure order accuracy and product quality.
- Coordinating with procurement to track order progress, ensuring timely delivery.
- Keeping customers informed about delivery schedules and order status.
- Assisting with training and mentorship of entry-level team members.
- Actively participating in sales meetings and providing order updates.
- Addressing and resolving issues related to delivery, warranty claims, returns, and customer complaints.
- Continuously enhancing your technical expertise regarding our products.
- Providing backup support for colleagues as needed.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Preferred Experience:
- Post-secondary education.
- 2-5 years of experience in sales, ideally with rotating equipment, valves, or instrumentation.
- Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems.
