We are proud to be partnering with Northpoint Properties to recruit a Property Administrator for their office in Halifax.

Reporting to the Vice President, the Office Administrator will be responsible for managing office operations, providing customer service, and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day activities. This position requires excellent organizational skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Answer and direct incoming calls.
  • Monitor emails and follow up with applicants.
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment.
  • Organize and coordinate viewings, maintenance schedules, and other scheduled work.
  • Prepare and distribute documents and application review reports.
  • Provide administrative support to other departments as needed.
  • Prioritize maintenance requests and tenant communications. 
  • Notify tenants of scheduled appointment entry times. 
  • Process and organize new Applications.
  • Complete drafts of any approval notices, create/send Co-signer forms, Pre-Authorized Debit Forms, Parking Forms, etc.

As the ideal candidate you will have successfully completed a post-secondary office administration program and have demonstrated administrative work experience. With excellent verbal and written communication skills, you have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing your time effectively.
