Venor is proud to partner with our client, Gautam LeBlanc MacPhee CPA in their search for a Senior Accountant who will follow a defined pathway to partnership.

Gautam LeBlanc MacPhee CPA offers assurance, accounting, tax and consulting services to small and medium-sized owner-managed organizations. They offer assistance to both profit-oriented and non-profit-oriented entities.

Reporting to the Partner, the Senior Accountant will work collaboratively with team members and partners to problem solve, facilitate decision-making, documentation, and management of client expectations. 

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to review engagements, preparation of corporate and personal tax returns and compilation engagements, conducting complex accounting research, client accounting, enquiry of management, and attendance of client meetings.  

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Commerce or BBA in Accounting as well as a CPA designation with 2 – 5 years of experience. You are a proactive and detail-oriented problem solver with strong financial and analytical comprehension, exceptional time management and prioritization skills, and are proficient in financial statement preparation. You possess effective communication and interpersonal skills, enjoy being challenged, are highly professional and value client confidentiality. . 

The Senior Accountant will effectively communicate and display their interpersonal skills across a collaborative team and engaged client base. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to engage in an exceptional learning environment with staff with years of industry experience in senior roles.
