The Opportunity
In this role, you will own and grow your business unit—driving revenue, building long-term client partnerships, and delivering full-cycle recruitment solutions. You will act as a strategic advisor, helping clients navigate hiring challenges while positioning Venor as their partner of choice. This is an ideal opportunity for someone coming from consulting, recruitment, or professional services, with a strong foundation in business development, account management, and relationship building.
What You’ll Do
- Lead sales and business development efforts, identifying and securing new client opportunities while expanding existing relationships.
- Build and manage a portfolio of clients and searches, delivering full-cycle recruitment from intake through to offer and onboarding.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing market insight, talent intelligence, and strategic hiring guidance to clients.
- Develop and execute growth strategies aligned with business unit targets and broader company objectives.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets, supported by clear KPIs and disciplined pipeline management.
- Leverage your personal brand, network, and industry expertise to attract both clients and top-tier candidates.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver a best-in-class recruitment experience for both clients and candidates.
- Utilize social media and market presence to build awareness, promote opportunities, and strengthen your talent pipeline.
- Provide insight to marketing to support content strategy and market positioning within your vertical
- Attend and participate in networking events and industry engagements to elevate your brand at Venor.
What You Bring
- Proven success in sales, business development, or client-facing consulting roles
- Experience in professional services, recruitment, or advisory environments is strongly preferred.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and convert relationships into business.
- A natural ability to build trust, influence, and advise at all levels of an organization.
- High level of drive, accountability, and resilience in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Exceptional communication, organization, active listening, and time management skills.
