As Sustane continues to grow, Venor is seeking a Senior Processing Engineer to be a part of their dynamic team in Chester, Nova Scotia. Reporting to the President, the Senior Processing Engineer will be involved in the development and implementation of commercializing the refining process.
- Refining and developing new processes and executive on delivery.
- Designing & testing existing process upgrades and developing new process systems.
- Ensuring processes comply with safety and quality standards.
- Performing process simulations, troubleshooting issues & performing optimization tests.
- Developing routines and best practices to ensure product quality while monitoring upgrades.
As the ideal candidate, you have a bachelor’s degree in petroleum, process or civil engineering with a Professional Engineering Designation (P.eng) in Nova Scotia combined with 10-15 years of proven experience. You have excellent knowledge of process engineering software systems and are experienced with CAD & AutoCAD programs. You have strong attention to detail and have experience leading key processes from start to finish.
