Acadian Construction is hiring a  Senior Project Manager located in Halifax or Moncton to serve as a key leader within the organization, responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale, complex construction projects from inception through to completion. What You’ll Be Doing

• Strategic Leadership: Lead and oversee multiple high-value construction projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and Acadian’s high standards of quality.
• Project Oversight: Manage budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
• Problem Solving: Address challenges proactively with clear communication and effective solutions to keep projects on track.
• Team Development: Mentor and guide project teams, fostering collaboration, trust, and continuous improvement.
• Client Relations: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term relationship building.
• Innovation: Champion new technologies, methodologies, and processes to drive efficiency and project excellence.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks to ensure smooth execution and consistent outcomes.
• The Acadian Way: Promote Acadian’s project management standards, ensuring consistency and excellence across all initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma in Engineering Technology or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, complemented by a minimum of 10 years of senior project management experience within the construction industry. They will have a proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex projects, supported by exceptional leadership and communication skills that inspire cross-functional teams and foster strong stakeholder relationships.

Proficiency in project management software, particularly MS Project, along with advanced Microsoft Office skills, is essential. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a results-oriented mindset, thriving in a fast-paced environment that demands the management of multiple priorities. Bilingual proficiency in French (oral and written) will be considered an asset, though not a requirement.
