The Opportunity:
Under the leadership of the Regional Director for New Brunswick, the Senior Project Manager at Lindsay Construction plays a crucial role in guiding a dynamic construction team, including project coordinators, project engineers, superintendents, and internal self-performed work disciplines. The goal is to deliver top-tier quality, outstanding customer service, and profitable projects across New Brunswick. This position allows the Senior Project Manager to leverage their extensive experience to enhance constructability and quality.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Accountabilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all team members by promoting a culture that deeply cares about our people. Collaborate with our Safety Advisors to meet Lindsay Construction’s safety policies and legislated requirements, ensuring everyone goes home safely every day.
- Work closely with clients to ensure complete satisfaction is maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Be available to the Director of Business Development when meeting new and potential clients to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities.
- Actively promote Lindsay Construction to present, past, and potential future clients, showcasing our commitment to quality and excellence.
- Manage and lead the Construction Team with a focus on collaboration, accountability, and professional development. Mentor less experienced staff to build a strong, capable team.
- Develop and monitor project construction schedules using Microsoft Project, ensuring timely execution of deliverables.
- Complete project and financial reporting on time, ensuring all team members adhere to the same standards.
- Work closely with the Estimating department on project pursuits, offering insight on applicable trades, project risks, execution strategies, and schedules.
- Collaborate with the Pre-construction and Proposal groups on selected project opportunities to align on objectives and expectations.
- Follow the Lindsay Business Management System in the execution of Project Management, holding all team members accountable to our standards.
- Write trade and supplier contracts with complete scopes of work, adding value through scope negotiation and limiting scope gaps.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate brings 8-10 years of relevant project management experience, complemented by post-secondary education in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. They possess a strong background in estimating, scheduling, contracts, and material procurement, with a thorough understanding of construction details. The candidate has a proven ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders and has demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong client and trade relationships. Experience in leading high-performing teams, with a focus on fostering collaboration and growth, is essential. Additionally, they have consistently managed multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, demonstrating a track record of success. Bilingualism in French is considered an asset.
