Position Overview
Our Halifax team is expanding, and we’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Building Restoration Consulting Team to assist in client relations and project delivery. As the Project Manager, you will represent Sense Engineering and offer our services, alongside the rest of the Team, at a much higher level of client interaction and commitment than the industry standard.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage project timelines and the workload of team members, including allocating resources as needed to prioritize scheduled deliverables.
- Prepare recommendations on overall project scopes and budgets, based on the bids received
- Prepare and/or review project proposals, building evaluations, construction documents, and condition assessment reports.
- Prepare and/or review design drawings, details and written scopes of work to outline key aspects of the project.
- Prepare and/or review technical specifications and tendering work to contractors for execution of the work.
- Monitor construction budgets and schedules, and work closely with the contractor and owner to manage budget or schedule changes.
- Carry out site investigations/reviews of work being completed and investigate any problems.
- Provide accurate, reliable, and timely information to the owners, contractors and clients.

Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelors or diploma in engineering or architecture from an accredited university or college.
- Experience or interest in Building Science and Restoration Engineering.
- Demonstrated project management experience managing projects from initial concept to final completion in the engineering or related industries.
- Construction project experience including the preparation of construction documents, tender processes, and field documentation.
- Proven experience with design/engineering/construction processes and technical concepts for full buildings including knowledge of provincial building codes and standards.
- Possess a strong balance of both technical and people skills.
- Strong time management skills to deliver projects on time to the satisfaction of the customer.
- Eagerness and willingness to learn and work hard but also have fun everyday.
- Love for people, dogs, and our clients (be seriously client-centric).
- Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a car.
